A Note from the PTA

 

We are quickly nearing the home stretch of the school year, but we still have quite a few events and programs coming up! 

  

Carnival is coming April 5th rain or shine! We can't wait to see you there! Ticket pre-orders are now closed, but there are still opportunities to donate. Volunteer opportunities are also available! 

 

Our Watch Dog Dads are starting a Running Club for dads and their kids! See flyer below for info. Start date is Friday, April 11th.

 

Muffins in the Morning is April 11th followed by a PTA General Election meeting! Muffins will be available from 7:00-7:40am and the meeting will follow from 7:45-8:00am! See flyer below.

 

We will also have one more Parent Coffee on April 25th in the Mitchell Library. The topic will be on "Poison Control and Prevention at home."

 

Field Day is coming May 16th! Field Day T-shirts are now on sale! Get yours here! Deadline to order is April 25th.

 

Teacher Appreciation week is coming up on May 5-9th! Stay tuned for fun themed ideas on special things you can do to celebrate your teachers that week! 

 

Do you know a graduating high school senior that went to Mitchell Elementary? We are hosting a Graduating Senior Reception on May 12th from 5-6pm in the library. See flyer below.

 

Mark your calendar! Our end of year class parties as well as 5th grade graduation will be taking place on Thursday, May 22nd! Stay tuned for more details!

WATCH DOG RUNNING CLUB  

Our Watch Dogs team is starting a running club Fridays 6-7pm, with warm up at 5:45pm. The group will meet at the pavilion behind Mitchell. It is a great way for dads to bond with their kids and burn off some energy at the same time! 

 

  

 

FIELD DAY T-SHIRTS

2025-2026 MITCHELL PTA EXECUTIVE BOARD NOMINEES

As we begin to approach the end of this school year, it is time to turn our attention to who will lead our PTA in the next term. We are thrilled to share the slate for the PTA Executive Board Members for the 2025-2026 term as submitted by our nominating committee! Join us on April 11th at 7:45am for our PTA General Election Meeting.
