President’s Corner

Dear Mitchell Students and Families,

             What a wonderful year it has been so far! On behalf of our PTA, we appreciate all of the enthusiasm for each of our PTA events, eager volunteers, and growing membership! We have the most wonderful Mitchell community. 

              We hope that by now you have taken some of the opportunities to connect with your fellow Mitchell families. There are still lots of great events that take place during our spring semester, such as our Spring Carnival, Talent Show, Tech Talk, class parties, and more. Continue to keep a watch on the Mitchell PTA facebook page and/or instagram for updates on current events. Our PTA website is always a great resource as well.

              As we continue to work to build our School of Excellence, you may also notice our continued focus on bringing our community together through language learning. This semester we began an after-school language learning club, have purchased additional multi-lingual signage for around campus, provided additional language resources for our classrooms, and continued to update the language learning tab on our website. We hope that you will connect with your kiddos on this, as they begin to experience new languages and cultures. 

              If you ever have any questions, concerns, or are looking for more ways to get involved, don't hesitate to reach out! We are here for all of our families and are so thankful to have you as part of our Mitchell Community.
