Mitchell Students and Families,

I hope everyone had an amazing summer — you all deserve it!

For our returning families, welcome back! To everyone joining us for the first time, we are so glad you're here. Mitchell is a special place, and you're going to feel that right away.

I'm thrilled to be kicking off the 2026–2027 school year as your PTA President, and I could not be more excited about what we have planned. Head over to www.MitchellPTA.net and follow us on social media to stay up to date — we will hit the ground running in August, so make sure you subscribe to our calendar so you don't miss a thing!

One of the things I love most about Mitchell is this community. If you haven't already, I really encourage you to put yourself out there this year — come to an event, volunteer for a class party, hang out on the playground after school, introduce yourself to a few new people. Some of the best friendships (for kids and parents!) start that way. We'll have tons of volunteer opportunities throughout the year, so make sure you're approved through Voly and ready to jump in when something sparks your interest.

Becoming a PTA member is one of the easiest ways to show up for your kids' school — membership is $16 for an individual or $30 for a family, and every dollar goes right back into our programs and our school.

I genuinely look forward to connecting with each of you this year. Don't ever hesitate to reach out — I love meeting new faces and I'm always happy to help!
